Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival 4th Division Sponsor

WINCHESTER, VA - APRIL 30, 2016 -  A local holiday approached on the weekend of May 1st each year- and O’Sullivan Films has joined in on the fun.

From the website:

“A series of more than forty events includes: band competitions, dances, parades, carnival, dinners, luncheons, wine festival, a 10K Race, the Coronation of Queen Shenandoah, two large parades, and celebrities. The Festival is an event the whole family can enjoy.

The Festival is held in Winchester – Frederick County Virginia, in the beautiful and historic Northern Shenandoah Valley, just 75 miles west of Washington, D.C. A small city with a rural atmosphere, Winchester is within easy driving time from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA, Baltimore, MD and Richmond, VA. Crowds in excess of 250,000 attend the Festival each year.”

O’Sullivan Films has sponsored a float in the parade since 2014, and this year’s theme is Unforgettable.  With memorability in mind, O’Sullivan Films hearkened back to their midcentury method of radio advertising. If you listened closely, you’d find that the pull vehicle had the O’Sullivan Singing Bootblacks vintage vinyl record on repeat- a nostalgic jingle touting the benefits and happy feet that O’Sullivan’s Rubber Heels & Soles could bring.

Truly, the most remarkable memory that parade watchers took home were the O’Sullivan float riders, dressed in brightly-colored barbershop quartet costumes with neon mustaches, canes, and boater hats aplenty, celebrating and invigorating the passed crowds with cheerful aplomb.
